We had a very nice meeting with the field examiner this morning. Everything you told me to do and have prepared was a great help to all of us.
It's a small world. The examiner and my Dad worked for the same bank in Western NY.
I can't thank you enough for all your help.
Best regards,

We are APPROVED!!!!!... Can you tell we are excited!! I just got notification in todays mail that our claim was received 12/6/11 and was approved 12/16/11. I will have my husband fax over the whole packet that they mailed to us for you to decifer and if there is anything else for us to do, please direct us. Looking forward to you continued guidance and imput.

I have to give you a hug for not giving up on me and keeping me positive. You can pass this on to other people who are working with. It is possible! It’s just takes a lot of time and don’t give up hope.
Thank you much!!! Mark
Contacted us after filing on their own and having given up all hope.

guess what-- I got a letter on Sat. saying the request has been approved. For the monthly amount you said. Effective date is Sept. 15. Could not believe it!! No need to send any additional faxes tomorrow like I was going to. Nice to know Uncle Sam sometimes does things quickly once in a while. here's what they said: granted death pension benefits effective Aug. 24, 2011 approved additional allowance for aid and attendance effective Aug. 24
Anyway thanks for all your help. It was really appreciated.

Ain't you something? I received a letter today from Congressman Wolf and her application was approved! She was granted "pension with aid and attendance." She will be receiving $1056.00 per month, beginning on 1 July 2010, so I assume her first payment will contain the retroactive amount. Right? They didn't approve her "claim" for accrued benefits and indemnity compensation, although I didn't know we even applied for that.
I just want to say thanks again for all your assistance. This is truly a lifesaver. God bless.

You are an Angel !! Everything you have guided me on, has come to fruition exactly as you said it would. After we reached out to local congressman Frank, I received my Dad's approval letter in the mail, from the VA yesterday. Approved for 1,644 a month. This will certainly make for a grateful day Thursday. I would love to talk to you some more, but I just wanted you to know asap. Please enjoy your Thanksgiving, knowing you made a family in Massachusetts very happy this Thanksgiving. :) I will set up a follow up chat for next week.

Guess who got $5,280.00 deposited directly into their checking account on November 24th?
You guess it, my Mom! I haven't received an letter yet from the VA, but I am assuming they have decided she in not incompetent and her benefits are now being paid.
Now this is a Thanksgiving to really be thankful for!
I will let you know when I get a letter from the VA & can you remind me of what I need to do yearly?
Client submitted application on 6/17/2010, award letter on 10/26/2010 with incompetency proposed. Successfully fought incompetency, full funds released on 11/24/2010.

A 1 day turnaround is truly a miracle, you must have the magic touch!
I am very happy with the $659.00 per month. Dad and I are very lucky to have you in his corner fighting for him! It is very ironic that my Dad served this country proudly as a gunner on the front line in WWII, and we all continue to be fighting for him to get the money he deserves.
Thank you for never giving up on us!
Client was denied Medicaid, we were able to get the VA to immediately issue a letter enabling the denial of Medicaid benefits to be overturned.

THANK-YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You turned a nightmare into a happy ending. I can now sleep at night. Hopefully, this will go smoothly from here on out.

Carol

Astounded!!
I just signed on to check my Mom's money and make sure the money that I'm transferring to her account each month actually made it there. I'm totally shocked to find that the Feb - May allotment AND the June allotment are IN HER ACCOUNT!!
It's like magic!!
Hopefully this brings closure to our adventures with the VA and we won't need you again... but I have offered several people info about this awand and told them to contact me if they need your services.
Thanks again. -k

Mission accomplished! We are receiving monthly VA benefits, as you know, and have finally received the amount in arrears. Direct deposit remains to be seen, but that is minor. I want to thank you so much for your help over these past several months. It goes without saying that I couldn't have done it without you.
You perform a valuable service and you do it so well! It's been a blast.

We received a response regarding the inquiry to the "missing" income from my mother's application for VA Aid and Attendance award. They are taking no action to reduce her 2006 and 2007 benefits! Thank you for your assistance in drafting the response to their inquiry! Without you I am sure we would have had to pay the VA about $10K due to the income oversight on her application. This was a huge relief! Thank you, once again, for your assistance with this issue!!!! You are the BEST!!!

Good Morning!
WE GOT APPROVED!
Happy to inform you that my aunt was approved by the Veterans for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation and also received additional monies because my uncle was a POW and the decision was made that his death was service related. On behalf of my aunt and entire family, we thank you so much for all your efforts on our behalf!! Good Luck to all of you and God Bless you!! Sandra

Yesterday I received an approval letter for my request for "Burial and Accrued Benefits". Just in case you cannot open the attachment I will mention that the letter indicates that an award check in the amount of $4224.00 will be forthcoming. I am assuming that this is the correct amount due and see no reason for a dispute.
Thank you very much for your help and guidance in this matter, without which I would definitely not be receiving this benefit.

At this wonderful time of the year it is only fitting that we received the allocation from the Veterans Admin for the aid and support for my mom. The allocation is for the full amount dispensable by the VA which allows us to keep my mom @ her independent living facility. If not for your base knowledge and your due diligence I don't believe we would have ever achieved this outcome. Our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation goes out to and your staff, along with our sincere holiday wishes.
Warmest Regards

I met with the VA representative yesterday and completed the Fiduciary forms with him. I am officially the VA custodian for my mother now. He is waiving the grace period for me and doing the background check and credit check immediately so they will release the retro to me within the next 15 – 30 days. He asked me how I was able to complete the paperwork so efficiently and when I started to say your company name he smiled, nodded and said good I’m glad you were referred to them! We went over how all of this will work and why, and answered all of my questions before leaving. Thanks for your help again! You’re really making a difference out there! 3 months to award letter 4 additional months to check

I can’t believe the timing with all of this and all within the last 24 hours! You have been my life line through this maze of paperwork, claim forms and VA protocol. How can my family and I ever repay you for your kindness? I could never have done this without your help and guidance and have no idea how many seniors and families you have assisted but I’ll never forget you and hope to meet you someday so I can give you a big hug. From the bottom of my heart thank you!!!!

I want to thank you for all the help and guidance you provided me on my mother's behalf with regards to getting the VA benefits for her. Although I had provided the VA all that they had requested, I could not understand why there were so many obstacles that popped up. Without your help, I believe the only path left, would have have been to get an attorney involved. All I kept thinking is the road blocks were designed to discourage keeping at it. You helped us get though the process and do it quickly with little effort.
My mom got her first check shortly (about two months) after your suggestions and direction were put on paper and re-present to the VA.
Client had filed on their own and was stuck - ERBC reviewed paperwork and was able to get award granted and released.
