Patty began her career as an auditor at Price Waterhouse and worked there until becoming Manager of Financial Reporting at API/The Boston Globe.Patty was the lead accountant on the merger with the New York Times and moved to New York as the Globe executive on loan to The New York Times in 1995. Prior to buying the Homewatch CareGivers franchise in 2005, she was Vice President of Finance at Stratus Technologies, a multi-national hi-tech company. Throughout her career as a CPA, Patty has been involved in many acquisitions/dispositions, written several technical letters to the SEC and completed extensive research on accounting and business law - which is exactly the type of research that has led to her success in advising families on the different benefits available to seniors.
